This sherbet punch is sweet, creamy, and perfect for baby showers, bridal showers, Easter, or holiday get-togethers. It comes together easily with just a few ingredients.

One of the best things about this recipe is how simple it is to make. Just four ingredients and a few minutes of prep, and it’s ready to serve.

Not only is this recipe super simple (a quick run to the supermarket is all you need), but it’s versatile, too. Swap out the punch, soda, and sherbet for different flavors and colors for any holiday or occasion.

Tips for the Best Sherbet Punch

  • Try different flavors by swapping out the rainbow sherbet for raspberry, orange, or lime to change up the taste.
  • Keep it cold by chilling the fruit punch, soda, and pineapple juice before mixing so everything stays nice and cool.
  • Use frozen fruit punch cubes by freezing some of the fruit punch in an ice cube tray. Add these to the punch to help keep everything chilled.
  • Scoop the sherbet ahead of time by placing scoops onto a plastic wrap-lined tray and freezing them. When it’s time to serve, they can be added quickly to the punch bowl.
  • Use frozen fruit for garnish. Frozen berries, pineapple chunks, or orange slices help keep the punch cold without watering it down.

Can I use a drink dispenser instead of a punch bowl?

A punch bowl works best because the sherbet won’t clog the spout.

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts fruit punch
  • 4 cups ginger ale
  • 4 cups pineapple juice
  • 3 quarts rainbow sherbet
US Customary – Metric

Instructions
 

  • Optional: Chill the fruit punch, ginger ale, and pineapple juice before making the punch.
  • Pour the fruit punch, ginger ale, and pineapple juice into a large punch bowl and stir gently.
    2 quarts fruit punch
    4 cups ginger ale
    4 cups pineapple juice
  • Scoop the rainbow sherbet and place it on top of the punch.
    3 quarts rainbow sherbet
  • Serve immediately.
