Pour the rice and water into the stainless-steel liner of the Instant Pot.
Stir to combine. Close the lid, set the valve to “sealing,” and press the manual (pressure cook) button. Adjust the time to 22 minutes.
After the time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes. Then, open the valve to release any remaining pressure. Open the lid, and fluff with a fork.
Serve hot as a side dish with your favorite main dish.
