Salt and pepper both sides of 4 thinly cut pork chops.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and oil, then add the pork chops. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.

Remove pork chops from the pan and add apple cider vinegar and broth to deglaze. Then add brown sugar, salt, ginger, and allspice. Stir to combine, then pour in the pears. Cook until thickened.
