Ingredients

Avocado Ranch:

  • 1 avocado
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon(s) lime juice
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • tsp. ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. onion powder
  • ¼ tsp. dill weed dried

Sandwich:

  • 6 slices wheat bread
  • 4 ounces sliced turkey or deli meat
  • 1 tomatoes sliced
  • 2 cups lettuce about 4 large whole leaves
  • 8 slices bacon cooked
  • ½ cup avocado ranch dressing

Instructions

To Make the Avocado Ranch Dressing:

  • Place the ingredients for the avocado dressing into a food processor. Pulse until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
    1 avocado, ½ cup Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon(s) lime juice, ½ tsp. salt, ⅛ tsp. ground black pepper, ¼ tsp. garlic powder, ¼ tsp. onion powder, ¼ tsp. dill weed

To Assemble the Sandwich:

  • Toast the slices of wheat bread, and place one piece on a plate. Add a large piece of lettuce on top of the bread. Place two ounces of turkey meat on top of the lettuce.
    6 slices wheat bread, 4 ounces sliced turkey
  • Use a spoon or spatula to spread an ounce of avocado ranch dressing on a second piece of bread, and place it on top of the turkey. Next, add a second, large piece of lettuce to the sandwich.
    ½ cup avocado ranch dressing
  • Top the lettuce with tomato slices, purple onion, and four slices of bacon. Spread another ounce of avocado ranch dressing on a third piece of bread, and place it on top of the sandwich.
    1 tomatoes, 2 cups lettuce, 8 slices bacon
  • If desired, slice the sandwich and serve with a pickle, chips, or pretzels.
