Instructions
Spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray, grease with butter, or line with parchment paper. Set aside.
Melt the butter in a large pan over low-medium heat then add the marshmallows and salt.

Stir the marshmallows continuously until melted then add the peanut butter and vanilla.
10 ounces mini marshmallows, ⅔ cup creamy peanut butter, 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispie cereal. Work quickly to stir in the cereal then transfer to the prepared pan.
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Use a buttered spatula to gently press into an even layer.
Melt the chocolate chips on half power in the microwave stirring every 15 to 20 seconds. Pour the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispie treats in an even layer. Spread smooth with a spatula.
3 cups chocolate chips
Allow the treats to cool, so the chocolate sets. Cut and serve.
