- Place both types of sugar and the water into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sugar dissolves then remove from heat. - 1 cup granulated sugar, ¾ cup water, 1 tablespoon light brown sugar 
- Stir in the extracts, and allow the coffee syrup to cool completely. - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon butter extract, ¼ teaspoon almond extract
