  • Cover with greased plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel. Let the rolls thaw and rise in a warm spot until doubled in size, usually about 3–4 hours, depending on your kitchen temperature and package directions.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla. Brush the mixture over the warm rolls immediately after baking.

  • Serve warm with any remaining honey butter and enjoy.

Notes

  • The calories listed are an approximation based on the ingredients in the recipe card and a serving size of 1 roll. Actual calories will vary.
  • After making the honey butter, chill it for a few minutes until slightly firm. It should be spreadable, not solid.
  • Use part of the honey butter to brush over the rolls and save the rest for serving.
  • I used Rhodes frozen dinner rolls and followed the package directions for thawing, rising, and baking. Use the instructions on the brand you buy.
  • Store leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5.
