Ranch Dressing Mix

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons dried chives
  • 2 teaspoons salt or adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine the ingredients in a small bowl.
    2 tablespoons dried parsley, 1 tablespoon dried dill, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon onion powder, 1 tablespoon dried minced onion, 2 teaspoons dried chives, 2 teaspoons salt, ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Whisk together until all the ingredients are well blended.
  • Transfer the mix to an airtight container or a spice jar.
  • Store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.

To Make Ranch Dressing:

  • In a medium bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of the ranch dressing mix with 1 cup (240 ml) of mayonnaise and ¼-½ cup (60-120 ml) of buttermilk.
  • Whisk until smooth and well combined.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
