1 ½cupsdiced country ham
6ouncesfrozen peas
¾cupchicken broth
¾cupheavy cream
½cupparmesan cheeseshredded off the block
1teaspoondried basildried
½teaspoondried thymedried (optional)

Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and cook the pasta until it’s al dente. Drain, and set aside.
8 ounces bow tie pasta
In a medium saucepan or skillet over low to medium heat, add the olive oil and garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds to a minute, then add the ham and frozen peas. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes.

Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, basil, and thyme. Stir to combine, and continue to cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens, about 5 to 7 minutes.

Remove from heat, and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Taste, and season with salt and pepper if desired. Stir in the cooked noodles.

Serve hot with additional cheese, or a sprinkle of fresh basil or thyme.
