Strawberry Basil Lemonade
Place strawberries, sugar, and water into a saucepan.
Cook over medium-high heat until the sugar dissolves.
Allow the mixture to cool, then pour into a blender.
Add the fresh basil leaves.
Blend until smooth and well combined.
Optional: Pour through a mesh sieve to remove thick, pulpy parts.
Pour strawberry basil syrup, fresh lemon juice, water, and ice to a large pitcher. Stir to combine.
Serve in individual glasses with fresh strawberries and lemon slices.
