Oatmeal with Peaches
Whisk together the water, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
Bring to a boil, then add the oats. Reduce to a simmer.
Stir occasionally, and add ½ cup of peaches to the oatmeal a couple of minutes before it finishes cooking.
Cook until the desired consistency is reached, then divide the oatmeal between two bowls.
Top with the remaining fresh peaches and a drizzle of heavy cream.
