Cook the pasta & broccoli florets. Set aside.
Melt the butter over low-medium heat. Whisk in flour.
Add the milk, heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir in the mushrooms.
Reduce heat to low. Stir constantly until the sauce thickens.
Pour over the pasta & broccoli. Toss to combine.
