Add butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, and pepper to a saucepan.
Cook over low heat until the butter melts and ingredients are well mixed.
Add cooked linguine noodles, and toss to combine.
Next, add sauteed asparagus and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Toss until the ingredients are well mixed.
Serve hot with extra Parmesan cheese.
