Apple Turnovers

Our Apple Turnovers are wonderful for breakfast or dessert.

– apples – butter – light brown sugar – apple pie spice – salt – cornstarch – water – egg – puff pastry dough – sanding sugar

Ingredients

Cook apples with butter, brown sugar, apple pie seasoning, & salt.

Combine cornstarch & cold water. Add to the apples until thickened.

Cut the puff pastry dough into six squares & brush with an egg wash.

Place a scoop of filling into the center of one half of each square.

Fold each square diagonally. Brush with egg & sugar. Bake & serve.
